Leadership Through Sports Training and Competition

VISION

GENDER EQUITY

The Blue Chip Mission
Blue Chip Sports Network's (BCSN) mission is to develop athletic programs to teach life skills that will help develop self-esteem, character and empower amateur athletes so they are better prepared for the challenges of life.  Additionally, BCSN is committed to providing a world class youth sports facility.

BCSN is planning to conduct regional sports leadership camps.  We have projected Illinois, Florida, New Jersey and California as prospective camp locations.  The camps will run from Sunday night through Saturday at noon.  Athletic training, drills and competition will be complemented with talks and discussions during the week on topics such as self-esteem, discipline, teamwork, attitude, leadership and decision making.   In addition, the importance of education will be stressed.

There are millions of retired coaches, teachers, managers and people who have worked their entire life interfacing with people in the workplace.  BCSN's goal is to find the best of these individuals who are motivated, have passion and have a desire to "give back" by working as coaches, referees, supervisors and mentors to the young athletes in the BCSN programs.

The desired outcome of this effort is two-fold; (1.) to inspire the young athletes to become volunteers in their community and (2.) to provide the "good feelings" and sense of satisfaction that one gets when giving of their time and talents.

The BLUE CHIP SPORTS NETWORK has applied for and will operate as a 501(C)3 entity.
