EMPOWER GIRLS is our mantra.  After researching and analyzing the youth sports market for over seven years we have determined that there is a huge untapped market for girls' athletic training.  According to a May 15, 2011 article by the National Women’s Law Center, “Despite the fact that Title IX has opened many doors for women and girls in athletics, schools across the country are still not providing equal opportunities for girls to participate in sports and are not treating girls’ teams equally in terms of benefits and resources.  Girls, particularly girls of color, receive far fewer opportunities to play sports than do boys, as well as inferior treatment in areas such as equipment, facilities, coaching and publicity."

Over half of the world’s population belongs to either Generation Y (1977-1994) or Generation Z (1995-2009).  Many Generation Y people are the parents of Generation Z.  This Generation Y market and the Baby-Boomer (1945-1965) generation control the lion’s share of the Nation’s personal wealth.  This dramatizes the size of this huge market and the fact that they have the resources to invest in a quality youth sports training regiment for their daughters.

According to an article in the April kidSPORTSMAGAZINE, “Studies show that as girls move from grade school to middle school, their self-esteem drops significantly.  Generally, boys are not affected as dramatically as girls in this loss of self-esteem as they mature.”  The article further states, “A 1998 study by the Women’s Sports Foundation shows that girls drop out of sports at a rate six times higher than boys as they move from grade school to middle school.  Could participating in athletics help young girls maintain their self-esteem?”

The answer was an unequivocal “YES!”

Our mission is to help develop, implement, staff and support quality girls' athletic training programs and top notch competition.  A professionally structured girls’ training academy, properly promoted and marketed, would not only educate parents to the benefit’s athletics have on their children, but also make them aware of the bountiful resources that are available to girls through Title IX.
