Leadership Through Sports Training and Competition

VISION

GENDER EQUITY

The Blue Chip Sports Vision

There are many facilities that proclaim that they have professional instruction.  BCSN's vision is to implement instructional programs that not only teach fundamentals and skills of a given sport, but also include life lessons and skills.  One of the programs that we believe is a great model is the Lisa Foss Sports Leadership and Training program.  They train, assist and evaluate athletes from 6 to 16 and reinforce self-esteem and character. Lisa's programs run all year long and provide professional athletic training and competition.  The goal is to help develop solid future citizens.

There are millions of retired coaches, teachers, managers and people who have worked their entire life interfacing with people in the workplace.  BCSN's goal is to find the best of these individuals who are motivated, have passion and have a desire to "give back" by working as coaches, referees, supervisors and mentors to the young athletes in leadership and mentoring programs.  The desired outcome of encouraging and having seniors model voluteering is two-fold; (1.) to inspire young people to become volunteers in their community and (2.) to help young people experience the "good feelings" and sense of satisfaction that one gets when giving of their time and talents.
